Mrs. Hagerman and Violet,
I wanted to offer my condolences to you both in the death of your husband and father. I know that you do not know me, but I was working in the church office the day your husband passed away. I hope you do not think it inappropriate of me to write you, but I was very touched by your situation. I pray earnestly that the Lord’s comforting hand will be upon you both in this difficult time. I do not know how to say all the things that my heart feels for you. Remember that the Lord said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corin. 12:9) May the Lord sustain you both in the coming hard times. I pray He will richly bless you with comforts and joys, even in small things, and in the way that only He can.
In the Love of Christ,
Kristen Waite
